Information obligations to the
private households according to § 18 ElektroG

1. According to § 17 ElektroG, GANTlights is obliged to take back waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.

2. owners of waste electrical and electronic equipment are obliged to separate this equipment from unsorted municipal waste and to collect it separately. The disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment via the residual waste bin or the yellow bin is not permitted. The following symbol of a crossed-out wheeled waste bin on electrical and electronic equipment indicates the obligation to separate collection:

3. we draw the attention of all owners of waste electrical and electronic equipment to the fact that they are obliged by law to remove used equipment, batteries and accumulators before handing them over, unless they are enclosed by such waste equipment. We draw the attention of all end users of waste electrical and electronic equipment to the fact that they themselves are responsible for deleting personal data on the waste equipment to be disposed of.

Following the regulations of the Packaging Ordinance, GANTlights is obliged to take back packaging of products that do not bear a sign of a system of comprehensive disposal (e.g. “Green Dot”) and to guarantee reuse or disposal.
